Planners & Grant Writers Roundtable Series

The Planners & Grant Writers Roundtable Series provides a forum for nonprofit development and grant writing staff to share successes and challenges, and to keep current on events and technology that impact their work. Sessions are built around a topic, and may include a guest speaker, small group discussion, sharing of information and resources, and networking. 

Our next session is April 27, 2010 – from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.  Topic is “Fear of Funders.”  We’ll discuss specific strategies for making positive connections with funders at all levels.  Two special guests along with co-facilitators Jan Wilberg and Lesley Salas will lead the discussion.

Strengthening Communities – Racine, WI

A new series of three grantwriting workshops:  April 29: Starting Out Right: How the Basics of Good Grantwriting Can Jumpstart Your Efforts; May 6: Sharpening Your Game: How to Become More Competitive in the Local, State and National Funding Worlds; May 13: Being Successful: How Good Performance Positions Your Organization for Next Time.  Workshops open only to Racine organizations participating in the Strengthening Communities Project.
